Session III: Robot description and requirement

o What is computer controlled robot

Session IV: Embedded Part

o Introduction to PIC microcontroller

o What is Microcontroller?
o Difference between microcontroller and micro processor?
o Microcontroller Architecture and interfacing
o How can we use a microcontroller in our own circuits?

o Idea of Controlling microcontroller using computer USB port

Session V: Assembling of the kit

Session VI: Hands on working

o Testing the electronics hardware and mechanical part of the robot.
o Testing the interface of your hardware through computer.

Session VII: Programming Description

o Working of application program on your systems.
o Making your own application programs.
o Testing your robots using your own programs.

Session VIII: Hands on continued...

o Development and testing of final circuit

At last- A small competition.

Requirement:

You must have visual studio install in your laptops (if possible) to develop the application program for your robot.

Duration

The duration of this workshop will be two consecutive days, with eight hour session each day in a total of sixteen hours properly divided into theory and hands on sessions

Certification

A 'Certificate of Participation' by HoriZON (An Unit of MBS Group) to all Participants of this workshop. At the end of this workshop, a small competition will be organized among the participating students and winners will be awarded with a 'Certificate of Merit'.

Eligibility

This workshop is best suited for those who are interested in knowing about the fundamentals of Industrial Automation. All Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, and Instrumentation & Control Engineering Student can join this workshop.

Fee

Rs. 1000/- (inclusive of all Taxes) per participant
