Workshop on Mobile Controlled and Autonomous Robotics
MobileBOTICS is the advance level workshop in which you can control your robot using your mobile phone. This workshop is dedicated to designing and controlling your machine using a cellphone. It also deals with microcontroller programming and customizing for mobile controlled machines. After the workshop, a student will be able to come up with a machine which can be controlled by using a remote Cellphone.

Session 1: Introduction to Basic Electronics.

Session 3: DTMF decoder ICs

o Programming of Atmega 8 microcontroller for Mobile control Robot

This workshop will be beneficial for students in following ways:
o Firstly, the workshop gives a student an insight view of the Robotics like Autonomous, Micromouse, BEAM, Mobile Controlled Robotics etc. for which we are sure, is not available on the internet.
o The Microcontroller session will be really helpful for them to get started with the basics of Robotics and Embedded for which they have to pay 10-20k in the market and still end up with nothing.
o Hands-on session along with Theory sessions step by step.
o They learn how to choose various component values optimally while designing circuits.
o We provide them guidance on how to choose microcontrollers, compilers and burners so that they are able to satisfy the requirements of their systems with as less complexity as possible.
o They are going to be using one of the most advanced microcontroller family AVR family. This family provides too many featured that they won't need to switch to any other microcontroller since really long.
o We are providing them a general purpose kit with which they can make any kind of robot they desire to make. And this will help them in technical festivals where they don't need to make circuit from scratch because it may take long time. They can assemble our kit and start programming it for their own purpose.
o Faculty and expert from Industries.
o We provide them future help and guidance for participating in competitions and these competitions makes them skillful and enhance their practical knowledge towards which we are gonna make our first step.
o Also the workshop doesn't end up then and there. They can contact the concerned faculties throughout their graduation or thereafter also if they need any guidance regarding industrial Projects and Placements.
The duration of this workshop will be two consecutive days, with eight hour session each day in a total of sixteen hours properly divided into theory and hands on sessions
A 'Certificate of Merit' by HoriZON (An Unit of MBS Group) to all Participants of this workshop. At the end of this workshop, a small competition will be organized among the participating students and winners will be awarded with a 'Certificate of Excellence'.
It's a basic level workshop so there are no prerequisites. Any one interested, can join this workshop.
