Workshop based on Solar Robotics and B.E.A.M.

This Solar-Robot is a capable little robot, powered entirely by solar energy, has light-sensing directional optics (eyes) and a pair of obstacle avoiding sensors. A pair of infrared detectors on the robot gives it a directed phototropic or light-seeking behavior, making it trace outlines around shadows and be attracted to the source of light, where it is the brightest..SolarBOTICS Workshop is divided into 4 sessions.

Session 1: Introduction to Basic Electronics.

o Components in electronics related to solar robotics

Session 2: Solar Engines

o Fled Based Solar Engine
o Miller Solar Engine (1381)
o Zener Based Solar Engine
o Working of the solar cell

o Students will understand the working of various Solar Engines such as Miller, Zener & FLED and how to use in real world applications. o Hands-on session along with Theory sessions step by step.

o We provide them guidance on how to choose electronic components, Solar Panels, so that they are able to satisfy the requirements of their systems with as less complexity as possible.
o We are providing them a general purpose kit with which they can make any kind of robot they desire to make. And this will help them in technical festivals where they don't need to make circuit from scratch because it may take long time. They can assemble our kit and start using it for their own purpose.
o Faculty and expert from Industries.
o We provide them future help and guidance for participating in competitions and these competitions makes them skillful and enhance their practical knowledge towards which we are gonna make our first step.
o Also the workshop doesn't end up then and there. They can contact the concerned faculties throughout their graduation or thereafter also if they need any guidance regarding industrial Projects and Placements.

Duration

The duration of this workshop will be two consecutive days, with eight hour session each day in a total of sixteen hours properly divided into theory and hands on sessions

Certification

A 'Certificate of Participation' by HoriZON (An Unit of MBS Group) to all Participants of this workshop. At the end of this workshop, a small competition will be organized among the participating students and winners will be awarded with a 'Certificate of Merit'.

Eligibility

It's a basic level workshop so there are no prerequisites. Any one interested, can join this workshop.
